Butterflies
As seen in “Change” Season 1, Episode 3
Supplies
Construction paper
Scissors
Glue
Tape
Markers
Recycled art materials (tissue paper, book covers, etc…)
Steps
Pick a color of construction paper and fold it in half
Draw a “3” shape on one side connecting to the middle and cut it out while the paper stays folded (this will allow the “3” to unfold into a butterfly shape)
Open up your butterfly and decorate using markers and recycled materials (ex: tape two pipe cleaners, cotton swabs, straws, etc. to the back to make antennas)
Optional: Tape a long piece of string to the middle section of your butterfly to make it fly!
